B-52 ACT-SERIES subwoofers
are the ultimate solution for low frequency sound reinforcement. These
revolutionary active subs deliver up to 135dB of deep, rich, chest-pounding
bass. The B-52 digital sub amplifier is powerful enough to drive an additional
passive subwoofer. ACT-SERIES subwoofers eliminate the need for additional
components such as rack-mount power amplifiers, electronic crossovers,
compressor and limiters as this circuitry is built-in. Available in your choice
of roadworthy black paint or black carpet finish with a tilt-back handle and 3"
casters.
POWERS ADDITIONAL PASSIVE SUBWOOFER
B-52 active subwoofers (ACT-18 or ACT-18X) are designed to power an additional
passive sub. The passive subwoofer (ACT-18S and ACT-18XS) has the same physical
dimensions as the active models. Connecting the active subwoofer to an
additional passive sub increases the amplifier's available power output from 800
to 1200 watts.
