Available with painted cabinet (B-52 ACT-1515X) and with carpeted cabinet & caster wheels (B-52 ACT-1515), The ACT-Series full-range systems are capable of producing rich, clear, sound at even extreme SPLs. The ACT amplifiers employ sophisticated circuitry including four stages of equalization, a built-in compressor, limiter and short circuit / over-current protection.
The ACT-1515(X) is a 1000-watt RMS, dual 15" two-way, perfect for large venue permanent installations or mobile entertainers.
- Made in the USA
- 13-ply Baltic birch construction
- Reinforced internal bracings
- Warnecke & Bohnscratch-resistant paint finish
- Aeroports for lower distortion & increased output
- Titanium compression driver on elliptical wave guide
- Custom 15" transducers optimized for
- high output & low distortion
COMPRESSOR & EQUALIZER
The highly sophisticated compression circuitry in the ACT-1515(X) allows for impressive SPLs while minimizing the risk of damage to either the amplifier or loudspeakers. The four-stage equalization network built-in into the amplifier is the perfect complement to the system's loudspeaker components.
