Vestax's unique Vinyl Filter Mode creates a "vinyl-like" analog
sound and makes mixing between CD / MP3 tracks and vinyl more seamless
than ever before! Total pitch adjustment, up to +/- 100%, allows any
track and style to be mixed, and with a high quality master tempo
function the sound quality does not deteriorate, even at extremes
pitches. MP3 Data and CD-RW formats can be read with the CDX-05,
allowing the user to conveniently use home made recordings. Seamless
loops can be created, with a separate 8-second sampler and multiple
beat-syncable effects, where mixes can be made even more exciting and
creative than ever before. The added inclusion of the TT-LINK accessory
socket will also allow DJs to control the basic CD functions via any
turntable simply by adding the Tascam accessory wheel. As technology has progressed DJs have embraced new formats whilst continuing to utilise the existing, and much loved, vinyl. However, the sound of digital media is often very different from the traditional analog sound, making the transition between formats very noticeable. The new CDX-05 features a unique vinyl filter mode, which cleverly adjusts the filter settings to give digital sound the warmth of vinyl. Thinking of the situations at the scene, the new CDX-05 features D/A Convert and Vestax's original vinyl filter that gives the digital sound the warmth of vinyl. Clear LCD display White LCD letters on black for good reading at the scene. Sampler facility Maximum of 8 seconds sampling, with able to layer the sound over the playing track. CDs can be changed without fading the outro by using the sampling loop function. Built-in adjustable effects Flanger/Filter/Delay effects are playable with the highly operative Jog dial; also able to play the effect time automatically in BPM. Pitch control Total pitch adjustment, up to +/- 100%, allows any tracks and styles to be mixed, and with a high quality Master Tempo function the sound quality does not deteriorate, even at the pitch extremes. 3 Hot Cue points 2 ways of setting memory points. First, the CDX-35 type where you keep the last playing point always on Cue memory, and the second is the CD-16 type, pushing the Cue button while on pause. Cues can memory while the track is playing. Seamless loop Plays seamless loops by setting the start point and end point on real time and is able to fine tune the end point with the Jog dial. Multi-function jog dial The Jog dial is the most easiest control operator, that has functions to search, pitch bend, scratch, break adjustment, key control, effect parameter, sampler tempo/level, program edit, and track memory to switch track numbers. Reverse Mode Tempo does not twist even when switching to reverse mode. Break adjustment The same effect from the PDX break adjustment knob where you can adjust the time until the track stops after pushing the pause button. MP3 Data readable MP3 data recorded on CDR can be read, and can select tracks smoothly out of many songs from the directory. Digital Out / Fader Start terminal Equip with a S/PDIF format digital out terminal that keeps 44.1khz at all time. Fader Start input terminal is loaded to correspond to the mixers that appear in the future.
